2026 Scheduled Events

Cornell on the Vineyard events are open to all Cornellians β€” alumni, students, family, and friends β€” to celebrate a week of joy, connection, and Big Red Pride.

Monday, August 34:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Red & White Welcome Cocktail Reception

Join us for a festive evening of connection, conversation, and Cornell spirit at the home of Dr. Deborah Arrindell ’79 β€” a short walk from the Oak Bluffs Ferry Terminal.

Registration required. $50 fee includes hors d’oeuvres, beer, and wine. Address shared upon registration.

Tuesday, August 41:30 – 3:00 p.m.

The Promise of Research Libraries in the Age of AI

A lively talk with Elaine Westbrooks, Carl A. Kroch University Librarian and Vice Provost, at the Oak Bluffs Public Library (56R School St.). Presentation begins promptly at 2:00 p.m. β€” arrive early to mingle.

Beach Day at the Inkwell

Meet us at the Inkwell β€” red tents will mark our spot, across from Alley/Waban Park and within walking distance of the Oak Bluffs Ferry Terminal. Bring your lunch and beach gear; games for all ages.
